Jenny and Micheal's 440 Seaton Wedding
Jenny & Michael are the dream couple. They know what they like, but more importantly, they know what they don't like. So, when they hired us for design & coordination, it was a match made in heaven. We had so many fun projects and design elements... and Jenny's handwriting should be it's own font it's so incredible - so we HAD to incorporate it into everything we could. Plus, they are just so in love and fun loving - every meeting ended in us just giggling the day away.
Jenny hand drew the entire invitation suite. Yes. That's her freehand. We can all be jealous now.The venue chose was 440 Seaton nestled right in the heart of the Arts District. We work there often so we knew the space really well and it helped in many of our design projects. Our fav part is all the amazing brick and natural light in the space. It's the perfect blank canvas!
How fun is their bridal party?!
The Ceremony: Jenny wanted whimsical with loads of green. Eucalyptus was her fav, and with the help of florist, Lynnea Ruiz - we gave her SO much greenery! I just love the subtly of the old brick behind the birch arch, loads of greens atop the layers fabric. So simple, yet so lovely.
For the reception, we incorporated tons of seaglass, cobalt glass, and mismatched brushed gold vessels to hold an array of romantic florals. It was so dreamy and airy. Everyone wanted to take the seaglass home!
We had several lounge areas from Circa Vintage Rentals throughout the reception because the entire meal was loads and loads of appetizers. Jenny and Michael wanted their guests to mix and mingle throughout the evening as opposed to just sitting at one table the whole night. So we set up tables for the older guests and then nooks where people could sit, chit chat, and then move around. It was the perfect setting for their friends and family.
This was maybe hands down my favorite part of the night. Michael is a HUGE batman fan. Like, HUGE. So Jenny surprise him with his very own custom Batman Grooms cake. The look on his face when he saw it was so priceless!
For their sweetheart table, we made a "runner" out of florals. Yes. you heard right. A runner. Isn't it the most stunning thing ever?!
There were so many appetizers, I don't know if people knew what to do with themselves. If you choose to go the all apps route - we highly recommend hiring a company like, Bite - who specialize in appetizers since there is a TON of work involved.
Because singing, dancing, and throwing confetti around with your ladies is the best way to celebrate!
