Amanda & Josh Highland Springs Resort Wedding on Friday the 13th

I began planning with Amanda and Josh about a year before their big day. And we spent so many hours defining and refining their details to perfection. Amanda spend hours measuring out the perfect bell jars, I sourced vintage brass pieces for months... and don't even get us started on the DIY resin sparrow skulls Amanda did! So much heart and soul into the perfect day. A reflection of the love and commitment of Amanda & Josh. Their relationship is literally "goals. And watching them on their wedding day was a reminder of why we work so hard on little details for couples. Amanda didn't want to do a "traditional" first look. So out came a blindfold for Josh and I gotta say - these may be my favorite first look shots to date!

While Josh and I were planning our wedding I realized that many of the photos I pinned were gorgeous but they weren’t us at all. It was so easy to get caught up in it all. If you are having a hard time picking your style pick and choose the elements you love and focus on those."
