I cannot believe it has taken me this long to blog Emma & Nicole's stunning Hawaiian destination wedding! Major fail. But in my defense... this wedding is beyond special to me and I really wanted to do it justice and not just throw it up on the internet in a hurry. I met Nicole in the industry, she's an incredible wedding photographer and we worked a couple weddings back to back and she is a ROCKSTAR. Like, dream vendor you'd want to work with. So from there, I was smitten with her as a vendor, and as a person. When I found out she was engaged, I basically pushed my way into her sphere basically begging to be apart of her special love story.

Hawaii was a special place to both her and Emma and it was an extra challenge for me, as I had never planned a wedding over there, but I was SO excited for the opportunity and that they trusted me with their vision. We fined tuned their love of tropical vibes with touches of blush into a cohesive modern bohemian event that suited them perfectly and matched the backdrop of the island in such a seamless way.

Their wedding day was beautiful, yes. Everything went smoothly and seamlessly and we evaded the rain by a few hours (success!) but what struck me the most was the entire week with each of the women and their families. There was so much love and camaraderie between them all. It was infectious and hard to not be jealous that you weren't part of the clan as well. I find this feeling a lot with destination weddings. There is just some extra magic in the air that you can't quite put your finger on, but it's undeniable.
