Houdini Estate Wedding

If you've never been to the Houdini Estate in Los Angeles before.. you are missing out. This place is out of control. Not your typical wedding venue to say the least. Perfect for an unconventional couple. Alexandra and James wanted a unique day filled with "attractions" and magical moments. Which wasn't hard to accomplish at a place like this. So we set out to design a completely unique wedding day filled with some traditions when it comes to the ceremony, but the rest was to be a complete "experience" for their guests. Complete with a map of fun things to do strategically placed throughout the property to encourage their guests to wander and explore the property and experience the magic themselves.This wedding was particularly special to me because of this beautiful bride right here. Alexandra was a shining lighting for me during her planning process. Shortly after we got into planning for her big day, my mom got into a terrible accident while on her honeymoon - rocking my whole world - while also leaving me responsible for my 4 youngers siblings for several months. Alexandra was similarly going through a family health crisis and our emails quickly turned from to do lists and reminders to checking in on each other emotionally and physically. She had so much grace for me during a very tough time. I honestly cannot thank her and James enough for the opportunity to be apart of their big day, but also for their strength and friendship during it all as well.
