A couple weeks ago, I turned 30. I wasn't super stoked about the concept. So I tried to embrace this new chapter by dying my hair purple and wearing a sparkly crown basically all week haha. Then, it was my wonderful associate's birthday - so I made her a crown... and then I thought, I'd share how insanely easy these crowns are to make. They would be so cute for a bachelorette party or a bridal shower as a craft or take home for your guests! So, first you'll need a headband to start - I had some metal ones left over from another craft. But any type would do. Then you'll need gold pipe cleaners (I got mine at Michaels) and you can add gold poms to the tops of the points using a hot glue gun. All of which can be found at your local craft store and/or Michaels. To begin, you'll wrap the gold pipe all around the headband. Use a dot of hot glue to secure the ends. It took me about 4 pipes to cover the whole headband. Then, take 1 pipe and fold in half to make your center "point." Just wrap the ends around your base. And do the same thing on either side, just allowing more pipe at the bottom to be wrapped around to make them smaller than the center one.And there you have it! You could keep going all the way around if you wanted to. Then I glued the poms to the tops and voila! Done in a matter of minutes.

So cheers to weekend, birthdays, getting older, wearing crowns when you're 30, and loving life!
