Elena & Ben's Carondelet Wedding
To say that Elena & Ben's wedding was full of elegance is an understatement. From her dress, to the venue... no detail was out of place and the setting in and of itself was just put elegance. I absolutely loved working with these two. They knew what they wanted and they knew what they didn't. It made decision making so easy! Photographer, Andy Seo captured the feel of the day, so perfectly! Be sure to see all the pretty below (including their stunning wedding video!) especially the brilliant advice, from the Bride herself.
Advice from the bride on planning your own wedding:
Don't sweat the small details - that's what coordinators are for! Think about what the top three most important things are to you and your fiance and put most of your attention on those. For us, food, music and booze were our top priority. We tried to keep everything else as simple as possible and not overthink it. This and the fact that we hired an amazing coordinator made the lead up to the wedding incredibly smooth.
Try not to let other people's opinions keep you from doing what you want to do. The wedding is about you and you won't be able to please everyone anyway.
Don't be afraid to be different. We chose to only do the traditions that were meaningful to us. For us that meant: no wedding parties, no wedding cake and no veil! Guess what - those decisions made our planning that much easier!
Remember to live in the day and savor the moment. Things will probably not go perfectly according to plan - for instance, the ipad turned off and cut off the music the second I started to walk down the aisle - but if you choose to not let those things upset you, then you will remember it as the best day of your life!
