Copper Place Card DIY
Last week we shared our "Dinner Party in your 30's" inspiration for LaurenConrad.com and it was so fun to read all the comments on their blog and see how many women were inspired to host their own dinner parties this summer. Part of our shoot included these incredible mini wood cheese boards from West Elm and we used them at each place setting with a copper tag and their name as their actually place setting. The copper tags were so easy to make, we just had to share the DIY with you so you can replicate them on your own! Hammer, copper tags (found ours at Target!), hammer, hard serface (cement works great), and a metal stamp kit - I got mine Here ages ago - gotta love that amazon prime!Grab the letters you need (I like to have them all spelled out already so I don't mess up) and hold the stamp firmly in place. Hammer firm and directly in the center of your stamp 3-5x. The softness of the metal you choose will depend on how many times and how hard you need to hammer. Continue with each of your letters!
Be careful not to hammer your finger!
That's it! So super easy and quick. They make a great keepsake for your guests to take home as well
