Covid derailed many couple’s wedding plans last year. Including Teiko & Jareds. They lived in New York and had decided to move to CA literally RIGHT before all hell broke loose with the pandemic. We sent countless emails and chatted about possible alternatives for them… but at the end of the day, with his family living on the east coast and hers on the west, they decided to elope!

I had a blast helping them make their intimate ceremony extra special - from finding the perfect airbnb to rent overlooking the malibu coast, to figuring out which special details we would want to make the day feel like a wedding even without the guests. One of my favorite elements (albeit, stressful) was the fact that we had 2 different laptops streaming the entire ceremony for all the friends and family who couldn’t be there! It was so fun to hear everyone chatting and meeting one another via zoom before the ceremony started and their incredible friend/officiant included everyone and made sure everyone felt apart of the ceremony as if they were there. Such a special sweet moment.
