Tasteful Tatters

When Olivia told us she wanted to get married in her childhood home in San Diego, I knew this was going to be a special wedding. Her parents live in the hills above the La Jolla shores in the most magical home filled with eclectic antique furniture, lush greenery, original hardwood floors and it just felt SO homey in the best way. The one small problem… the pool took up the majority of the space in the split level yard. We got to work right away measuring and re-measuring every nook and cranny several times over and came up with a plan to not only cover the pool, but flip the space to hold the ceremony AND the dinner portion of the evening. We had our work cut out for us - but… we’ve done this before ;-)

I absolutely loved Olivia’s love for all things vintage and her vision for a unique and romantic color palette. We brought together different textures with her linens, and flatware to give that vintage look and the florals by Emerald & Ivy brought the whole look together! And as always, so beautifully captured by our favs, Joe+Kathrina.
